Macildowie are delighted to be supporting and NHS organisation in the East Midland to appoint a Deputy Head of Financial Accounting to lead a high-performing team in the provision of financial and management information to help drive the performance of theTrust.
Reporting into the Head of Finance you will be responsible for leading the financial accounts team who are tasked with providing a technical financial service and financial accounting duties within the Trust.
Your key duties and responsibilities will include;
- Leading on the preparation of the statutory accounts for the trust and subsidiary, including all year-end accounting duties and associated returns.
- Reviewing and analysing the Trust's balance sheet, supporting and communicating appropriate movements to relevant parties.
- Take full responsibility for the Trust's control accounts
- Ensuring full compliance with VAT and corporation tax
- Preparation of monthly and 12-monthly cash forecasts
- Working with external auditors to support in the production of the annual statutory accounts and ensuring they are supported in the completion of the audit report
- Overseeing three teams covering the charitable funds team, pharmacy and technical accounting team.
- Ad-hoc project and support work.
