JHE & Partners are working with a global business in Bradford who are looking for a cash and bank finance assistant on an initial 15 month contract basis but with the strong possibility of going permanent.

The is an exciting opportunity working in a very fast paced environment working to a high standard meeting deadlines. You will have a positive working approach to various challenges with the opportunity to gain some invaluable commercial experience within the business.

Duties include:

- Balance Sheet reconciliations, specifically the performance of bank reconciliations and credit card income reconciliations
- Maintaining the integrity of the banking process including challenging & resolving discrepancies.
- Prevention of fraud by investigating chargebacks, bounced cheques and banking discrepancies.
- Roll out of new terminals to acquisition
- Management and continuing roll out of virtual terminals to local staff
- Management and reconciliation of internal data
- Monthly review and reporting of discrepancies to highlight training needs & sites of concern to the internal audit team.
- Daily upload of BACS receipts into the sales ledger and maintenance of customer data files to ensure accuracy of allocations
- Process journals via upload and other inputs onto the general ledger
- Support with the integration of company acquisitions into banking processes.
- Posting and reconciliation of the company credit card invoices
- Other ad-hoc activities as required

This is an excellent opportunity working in a supportive and cohesive team. Salary on offer will pay in the region £27,000, working 37.5 hours. The client offers 2 days working from home and 3 in office.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
