Hotel Receptionist

We are looking for a weekend Hotel Receptionist to join our 5-star restaurant with rooms, located in the beautiful village of Ashford-in-the-water near Bakewell.
- £11 per hour plus generous service charge circa £2.50-£3.50 per hour
- Saturday, Sunday & alternate Mondays
- 20-24 hours per week
- Saturday/Sunday 8am-6pm... Monday 8am-12pm

'''Duties'''
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and recorded accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns, escalating to management when necessary
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready for guest arrival
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area

- Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite
