**About the role**

Passenger Transport have an exciting opportunity for an Operational Officer (Quality) to work with the existing team at Westland Road managing support services such as Admin, Quality Assurance, Contract Management and Performance.
This is a challenging role supporting busy front line operation passenger transport operation which requires an individual who is flexible, energetic and innovative.

**Job purpose**:
To support the Corporate Performance Unit to ensure that the quality management of Civic Enterprise Leeds business’s meets contract specification and client expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- To monitor that all work is carried out to required specification ensuring that the service provided meets clients’ expectations and conforms to partnership, contractual arrangements, and performance indicators, LCC and Civic Enterprise Leeds Standards.
- To liaise with Technical Support Officers to develop, implement and monitor the provision of a quality service to meet customer specifications, LCC and Civic Enterprise Leeds Standards.
- To liaise with all Business Managers, Team Leaders and Operational Officers to ensure that remedial action is taken where the outcome of monitoring shows defects in service delivery.
- To assist the Business Managers to resolve any customer / client related issues regarding the quality and cost of materials.
- To take administrative responsibility for the Property Maintenance quality standards (ISO9001, EMAS, RoSPA, IiP, Chartermark).
- To provide administrative support to the Service Managers to deliver any project related work allocated by Senior Management.
- To be responsible for continuous self-development and the maintenance of high standards of professional expertise.
- To be responsible for training and managing staff for which this post is directly responsible for to ensure that a quality monitoring service is provided at all times.
- To promote and develop a culture that will improve attendance management.
- To work in partnership with internal and external agencies to ensure that an efficient and effective service is provided to meet customer expectations.
- To provide supervision (where appropriate) to staff assigned to the area of responsibility which includes development, training, supervisors role within the disciplinary procedure, grievance and maintaining high standards against L.C.C. Code of conduct.
- To contribute to continuous service improvement within the department and with customers /clients.
