YOUR ROLE

The London Experience Coordinator is the perfect role for someone interested in working with young people, events, social media & business processes. You will be the face of the London program and tasked with welcoming each program participant to the city.In the role you will assist with the day-to-day planning, administration, and coordination of the full internship experience including responsibilities such as delivering superb customer service, managing feedback, working with vendors and project delivery.

The coordinator role is essential to building strong relationships with our students, overseeing and escalating complaints as well as providing first-class duty of care for all participants in a fun and professional environment. The role is integral to thefeedback and success of the program and requires an enthusiastic personality with a close attention to detail.

The nature of the role means that both occasional weekend and week-night work will be compulsory with elements of remote work. If working on a particular weekend, you will be given days off in the week to compensate. Therefore, the role would be well suitedto a university student, graduate or someone who welcomes flexible working patterns.

The Responsibilities
- Schedule, organise, and attend weekly social & cultural events for in-country participants.
- Prepare and arrange the delivery of the welcome packs for each student before arrival.
- Ensure that all expenses and payment documentation are recorded and kept up to date on a weekly basis.
- Manage arrival weekends and ensure the successful on boarding of participants.
- Support participants with their day-to-day enquiries about their program, internship, and local advice.
- Collection of customer feedback.
- Assist Country Manager in managing pre-arrival queries.
- Assist Country Manager in organising regular information webinars.
- Manage Customer complaints with support from Country Manager and complaint management guide.

Your Skills
- Have an in-depth knowledge & familiarity of London.
- Are self-motivated with excellent organisational and planning skills with an ability to deliver on multiple tasks running concurrently.
- The ability to practice cultural sensitivity & engage with people from all around the world.
- Are a strong problem solver who is responsive to change and comfortable in delivering great customer service.
- Are a team player, with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Are flexible, adaptable, and responsive to an ever-changing work-flow.
- An innovative individual with a continuous interest in improving processes.
- Familiar with Google Suites and have proficient IT and system skills
- Experience in customer service, marketing, and events is strongly preferred
