**Job summary**:
This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced international department that contributes to the success of the UK's trade goals by attracting and retaining the best possible talent for our roles.

The Resourcing Hub provides a range of services to help managers attract, source and hire the best talent. We are a highly motivated team that works closely with stakeholders and delivery partners, collaboratively managing recruitment campaigns within the UK and overseas.

The strategy and approach the resourcing Hub adopts to ensure that the right people are in the right place is vital. This role is fundamental in shaping and driving the strategic agenda in this space. Leading a team of 4 people, you will support not only the Department’s priorities, but also work to deliver goals on the government’s Places for Growth ambitions.

**Job description**:
Whilst leading a team of 4 Resourcing Partners, your role will include:

- Overseeing key strategic resourcing interventions focused on improving the overall resourcing experience of both vacancy holders and applicants to making the department an employer of choice.
- Helping to identify talent pipelines into a multi-faceted organisation and understanding the flow of talent and resource.
- Delivery of the Department’s Place’s for Growth (PfG) Year 2 Resourcing Plan, working with colleagues across the business, as well as within wider Government to implement this, enabling the Department to meet its PfG targets.
- Deliver continuous improvement work across the Resourcing Hub including, but not limited to, reviewing and revamping resourcing guidance, supporting improvements for the Department’s Joiners Movers and Leavers programme and policy improvements on topics such as reserve lists and alternative sourcing routes.
- Working in close collaboration with the Resourcing Operations Lead, other HR teams and third-party suppliers, you’ll need to adopt an evidence-based approach to Resourcing challenges.
- Building capability of Hiring Managers within the Department, refocussing current training and ensuring this is utilised effectively to ensure best practice and compliance.
- Refocussing of the Resourcing Partner remit, moving this from an advisory role to a project-based delivery function.

**Person specification**:
**Essential Criteria**
- Self-motivated and able to work to set own and team’s work agenda whilst managing competing priorities.
- Project Management capabilities, with experience of leading a project-based team
- Proven ability of great stakeholder engagement and relationship building.

- Enjoys managing a team whilst building collaborative and supportive relationships.
- Has experience of Project Management and is able to lead a team to deliver concurrent project work
