**Summary of the site**:
**Cygnet Hospital Ealing** provides a welcoming, non-institutional environment, offering personalised treatment for service users with an eating disorder or personality disorder over two separate wards.

The team works hard to support individuals in their recovery and personal transformation. They make use of a range of therapies including psychodynamic, family, occupational, art, drama and complementary therapies. They also believe very strongly in patient-centredcare, and involve their service users in shaping their own treatment, and in all aspects of hospital life.

Cygnet Hospital Ealing is well-resourced and located in a leafy, residential area, with excellent links to the M25 and central London. The hospital building was once a house and has retained its homely feel, thanks to their welcoming, friendly staff andpleasant surroundings.

You would also line manage an OTA on New Dawn Ward (9 bed female personality disorder service). This service operates using a trauma-informed approach including a range of additional staff support; daily debriefs, external facilitators of reflective practiceand supervision, a Trauma Risk Management (TRiM) programme and a Sustaining Resilience at Work (StRaW) programme.

**Occupational Therapy Directorate**

Under the leadership of our occupational therapy directors we support over 150 Occupational Therapists. Working together as a large team we provide support to each other across the group, with the opportunity to be part of specialist interest groups & becomeinvolved in service development.

Every service line has a clinical lead occupational therapist to lead and develop evidence based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathway.

We ensure our occupational therapists have a voice through participating in service model development, utilising the expertise and support of our clinical lead occupational therapists.
