I work with a number of fantastic schools, both mainstream and SEN schools, in the North West London area and they are looking for therapists (OTs and SaLTs) to join them.

**About the role of Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)**

The Speech and Language therapy teams form part of a multi-disciplinary team to drive forward programmes of development and rehabilitation.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care which will encompass Speech and Language Therapy assessments, treatment and management of needs extended to life outside of school. You will assess, implement and develop treatment programmes according to diagnosis and identified needs.

**About the role of Occupational Therapist (OT)**

An Occupational Therapist aims to help vulnerable children and young people be as independent as possible. You will look at the whole child, tackling individual tasks and helping children find ways to do what they need and want to do. You will also liaise closely with the multi-disciplinary team, including Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, and teaching/support staff. You will engage with the children and young people within the school in innovative, helpful therapeutic and meaningful activities, supporting them in learning and reaching their full potential.

**Therapists should be/have**:

- Registered with HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) or registration in process
- Paediatric experience
- A passion to work in Paediatric therapy
- An understanding of Speech and Language Therapy/ Occupational Therapy process/interventions/assessments
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
- Resilience and an ability to manage difficult situations
