Key Responsibilities Develop an annual programme of support for sibling groups in collaboration with counterpart sibling support specialist and family support team members Co-ordinate the implementation of the identified programme for sibling groups in conjunction with counterpart Sibling Support Specialist and Family Support Team. Share responsibility of leading sibling support group work and staffing, with support from Line manager Assess, deliver, and evaluate one to one therapeutic support to siblings who have an identified need at a suitable location. Liaise with schools and other organisations to facilitate sessions. Work with family members to increase the understanding of the needs of siblings.

To signpost to other psychological support services as needed. To work in conjunction with the outreach play specialist as appropriate to support family groups or younger siblings. To support siblings to enable the facilitation of other groups, for example the bereaved family days and groups. To contribute to co-ordinating a sibling newsletter To identify and implement creative ways to communicate with the sibling groups.
