Position: Logistics Manager

Location: Birkenhead

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, 8am-4pm or 7am-3pm

**Salary**: £42,000p/a Circa

What does the job involve?
- Process and coordination of all orders for inbound materials (Raw Materials, Packaging, Additives and Finished goods) and production planning with the emulsion plant with a close link to the Sourcing-, Purchasing-, Logistics
- and Planning Departments inHamburg.
- Maintain the economics accounts within business system. Checking and select of incoming invoices
- Liaise with wax emulsion plant on a daily basis regarding production requirements to meet customer delivery deadlines for all emulsion orders.
- Preparation of transport documents
- Coordination with suppliers to ensure on-time supply with inbound Materials, incl. order management and requirements
- Contact to customs agent for all products and supplies
- Management of documents and invoices for the site Birkenhead
- Creating reports and analyses for stakeholders
- Monitoring quality, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- Optimize processes and support automatization and digitalization projects
- Substitute Logistic Manager, in all tasks
- Other tasks for the teamwork needed and / or the request of the line manager

What skills and experience do you need?
- Proven experience in logistics preferably in a manufacturing area
- Sound PC skills (Excel, Word, SAP)
- Focus on QHSE
