Butcher

We have an exciting opportunity to join our long-established team here at Fleming Butchers in Arbroath. We are expanding to open our second shop therefor we are expanding our team to continue producing top quality products for our retail and wholesale customers.

**The Position**
- Producing and presenting an extensive range of traditional hand finished products.
- Boning, cutting and trimming Beef, lamb and pork.
- Preparing value added products daily
- Working with the team to develop new products and seasonal items.
- Weighing, packaging and pricing products for display.
- Ensuring all products are labelled correctly
- Serving at the butchery counter and providing an excellent standard of customer care and product knowledge
- Preparing phone and online customer orders for collection or delivery.
- Adhering to an excellent standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the butchery.
- Processing orders and deliveries ensuring they are accurate, of the required quality and are received and stored correctly.
- Will have a genuine enthusiasm for food, local produce and the Fleming Brand.
- Will be a good communicator, working with owner/ Managers / chefs /office and Food to ensure consistency.
- Will be cheerful, customer focused and enthusiastic
- Will have an excellent work ethic and thrive in a busy environment.

Salary is dependent upon skills and experience and will be discussed at interview.
