**Your new role**
The Release Manager is a critical role where you will have daily interactions with projects, workstreams and delivery leads, ensuring the effective delivery of technology and change through co-ordinated release schedules and processes.
Key Accountabilities and Deliverables:
- Ensuring the successful test and release planning of key Service Lifecycle projects
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to balance multiple workstreams and activities while identifying risks, dependencies and issues.
- Detailed, solid understanding of tool driven delivery at scale
- Product quality and reliability
- Own and lead Quality and Assurance (QA) across the test and release cycle, as well as leading future test and release strategy.
- Ability to chair and host meetings and produce key reporting to senior leadership.
- Vendor Partner management and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, within Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid ways of working.
**What you'll need to succeed**:
- Large scale Transformation and Change, delivering IT products and services using multiple methodologies, within Application Lifecycle management (ALM)
- Experience in handling Vendors and Partners within complex change roadmaps and environments
- Strategic and objective decision making demonstrating balanced consideration of technical and business issues
- Strong planning and organisation skills, demonstrating an ability to run and maintain multiple projects and workstreams
- Experience of analysing, assessing, and resolving complex risks and issues to release roadmaps finding opportunity and enablers.
- Demonstrable ability to implement processes, metrics, and operational governance, ensuring QA, best practice and standards.
- Experience with Tool Driven delivery and associated toolchains to achieve test and release automation.
**What you'll get in return**
You can expect a competitive salary in the region of £60,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience), along with private healthcare, critical illness, life assurance, pension (up to 10%) and a range of other flexible benefits.
