**Job Description**

We are seeking an Automation and Release Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with developers to automate and streamline our release processes.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of cutting-edge technologies, including .Net and Golang, as well as custom-built CI and CD pipelines. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as Git and source control management.

The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying areas of improvement within current processes and driving change. They will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing code repositories and automated build systems.
  • Owning the application and database release processes, including versioning and release tickets.
  • Orchestrating weekly releases and communicating with multiple teams to ensure releases are delivered on time.
  • Updating stakeholders on the status of all releases.
  • Improving process and release activities to ensure planning and releasing software improves over time.

Requirements:

  • Delivery and results-focused.
  • Strong understanding of Git and source control management.
  • Familiarity with Splunk, Elk, Grafana, Jenkins, and Jira.
  • Knowledge of SQL.

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.
