Atlas Professionals are currently recruiting for a Document Controller on a temporary, full-time basis to commence work with one of our Aberdeen based drilling clients from 20th November.

**Description/Details**
- Maintain and revise functional Management System documentation as required.
- Prepare and review Level 2 documents for assigned Division of Operation.
- Follow quality standards in the creation and development of Management System documents.
- Assist with Division Accreditation and Certification activities and proactively manage systems to ensure compliance.
- Ensure documents and procedures as per contract requirements for customers are managed effectively and assist with quarterly reviews as necessary.
- Issue transmittals and workflows from the Document Control site.
- Monitor and track closing out of review and approval cycles, providing reports, as required, on items open/closed and proactively expediting further closure of open items.
- Provide input with development of document control procedure.
- Train Division personnel on the correct use of Sharepoint.
- Maintain the library and central filing system - including controlled documents and records.
- Prepare responses on HSE and company management system matters for Marketing and contract tenders.
- Participate in Level 2 System Management and Review Team (SMART) and act as HSE SME.
- Assist HSE Management in preparation for the yearly Management Review meetings.
- Review Division and Rig pages to maintain control of content and quality.
- Primary point of contact for incoming documentation packages via FedEx, DHL, courier etc.
- Interface with all departments in the performance of job functions.

**Minimum Required**:

- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience and good understanding of modern web based Electronic Document Management Systems (“EDMS”), as well as traditional paper-based systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and implement new procedures and systems within a project environment.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Ability to represent departmental interests in internal and external forums.
- Proactive; ability to work independently or with groups.
- Four years’ experience working in Document Control.
- Oil and Gas industry preferred
