**Overall purpose of the role**:
Credit Control role, working within a team consisting of both internal and external staff. Will be assigned accounts to target collection activity and resolve invoice issues with Sales and/or customer. Ensure monthly collection targets are met by adhering to the processes and collection protocols.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Credit Controller is responsible for
- Managing a high-volume ledger of small and large customers using the YayPay collection system
- Escalating non-payment issues with the customer, and to the Credit Manager
- Liaising with other departments to raise and resolve disputes in a timely manner
- Working with the Credit Manager and other departments to fix the root cause of issues
- Recording all action taken on the customer account.
- Using MS Excel to produce aged debt schedules for the customer
- Various other

**Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
- **A minimum of 5 years of a Credit Control experience**:

- Organised with the ability to meet deadlines and hit aggressive collection targets.
- Ability to get results in a firm but cooperative manner.
- Ability to act on own initiative and prioritise
- Good telephone manner, proficient in telephone cash collection techniques.
- Professional and confident approach
- Computer

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
