**CODE CAMP - Trainee Teachers required to work at our fun after school clubs for children in Years 3, 4 and 5**

Code Camp is Australia's leading childcare provider and we are growing fast in the UK We have partnered with over 100 UK primary schools since 2018 and taught over 100,000 kids to code globally since 2013. We are looking to make a hugely positive impact on STEM Education. Our staff work hard and love the collaborative effort of creating unique and engaging learning experiences for kids. We are looking for fun and energetic staff to assist at our after-school clubs.

**The Roles**:

- Lead Instructor_
- Deliver our lesson plan to a class of < 20 students
- Responsible for keeping the class on track
- Provide direction to assistants
- Teaching Assistant_
- Provides one on one help to individual students during class
- Any student falling behind will need you to guide them in the right direction
- Keep an eye out for any misbehaviour or disruption

**Required Skills**:

- Studying Education at university or some experience working in a classroom environment
- Enjoy working with kids and have a vibrant and enthusiastic can do attitude
- Currently completing, or have completed your tertiary studies
- Mature outlook and common sense
- Work well in a team environment
- Be able to take initiative when working unsupervised
- Fluent conversational English
- Confident with computers and tech
- The content that is taught is relatively basic, so an in depth knowledge is not necessary. We will ask all successful applicants to take an hour or two to familiarise themselves with the content._

**Key information**

We are currently looking for Lead Teachers and Assistants to work at a number of our before and after school clubs in Solihul. These clubs will be commencing 9th jan 2023 and will run for approx 12 weeks.

**Most of our after school clubs run from 3:30pm-4:30pm so we can only offer one hour a day.**
