Lunchtime Assistant

We are a private nursery open all year round and are looking to employ a lunchtime assistant to assist us during our lunchtime period Monday - Friday. Your responsibilities will be to provide high quality care of the children within our nursery, whilst supervising and assistant children at mealtimes.
- To assist children with their lunches where necessary E.g. Cutting up food, spoon feeding or providing second helpings.
- To meet the physical needs of children; encouraging good standards of personal hygiene and assisting children where necessary E.g. Hand washing, toileting etc.
- To assist with setting up and clearing lunches and to take on any cleaning duties needed in respect of the lunchtime period.
- To work in line with our policies and procedures including adhering to all Health & Safety & Food Safety Regulations.
- To be flexible within working practices of the nursery and to be prepared to help where needed; including undertaking domestic jobs within the nursery E.g. Preparation of snacks, cleaning of equipment, putting out bins etc.
- To also be flexible with regards to working in different rooms as and when required to ensure effective operations of the nursery.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £8,221.00 per year
