A rewarding **Senior Policy Officer**position is now available with **Bolton Council**on an ongoing temporary contract.
**What is the role?**
Bolton Council are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Policy Officer to work as part of a dynamic Policy and Partnership team shaping the Council’s key strategies.
In this role you will be supporting the Council’s approach to performance management and use of intelligence in decision making. This will involve wide ranging partnership working with both voluntary and community sectors.
You can expect to support developing approaches to policy, design and delivery. The key focus will be improving how teams work within the council, with external partners, and with residents and communities.
**How will you do this?**
- Ensure there is an effective performance management framework for the Council and Bolton Vision Partnership.
- Promote the better use of performance and intelligence data, ensuring performance management systems are meaningfully delivered.
- Assist transformation projects, supporting with research and benchmarking activities.
- Engage and work with the voluntary and community sectors in Bolton, ensuring delivery of the Voluntary Sector Strategy and operation of Bolton’s Fund.
