To help us provide the very best service, we are looking for a Technical Network Assistant to join our Vehicle Recovery Operator Department in our Colchester office.

**Purpose**

To assist the VRO Network Team in the day to day management of our network, ensuring robust compliance and maintaining an effective relationship between Call Assist Ltd and the Recovery Operators on our network. To assist both the VRO team and Operations with technical matters, offer guidance and oversee the collation of technical information in relation to the repairing of vehicles.
- Assisting the VRO Regional Manager with the management of cost control and performance of various sub networks.
- Implementing initiatives that will improve vehicle repair rates and improve service levels.
- Gather technical information that can be used in decision making when instructing sub-contractors.
- Offer guidance to the operations and training departments on utilising the right resource first time.
- Listen to calls as part of investigations when required.
- Generate reports when required.
- Answer incoming calls from VRO's with various enquiries/complaints.
- Carry out CA-VRO portal audits when required.
- Provide basic reporting on fix rate improvements and cost savings.
- Carry out visits and inspections to vehicle recovery operators and other suppliers.
- Uploading of new motor insurance, liability insurance and PAS43 certificates to the CA portal
- Contact VRO's to request new certificates/documents/information and raising relevant compliance breeches to the VRO Regional Manager
- Carry out yearly Vendor screening checks on all VRO
- Manage the DBS check process for all VRO
- Manage the Driving licence check process for all VRO
- Mange the VRO portal log ins and prompt VRO on its benefits
- Ensure that new VRO starters are equipped with new starter pack.
- Carry out VRO welfare calls when required.
- Carry out portal log in audits as defined by the VRO Network Manager
- Manage the VRO RCA log on behalf of the department.
- Speak to VRO's to help set up their APEX/Garage Manager systems.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- A technical or mechanical background
- Good understanding of Excel.
- Full Driving licence
