Within scope of practice, use expertise and decision-making skills to inform clinical reasoning approaches when dealing with differentiated and undifferentiated individual presentations and complex situations, evaluate and modify a range of interventions including prescribing medicines (or dispensing medicines under appropriate PGDs), therapies, lifestyle advice and care. Is aware of professional limits in clinical skills and knowledge, referring patients on to appropriate specialities as clinically indicated or asking for senior advice where appropriate.
