**The BSO role**

Blackwood are on the lookout for a Business Support Officer to join our Raeden Court Care Home Team in Aberdeen.

Our Business Support Officer will support the management team and our employees with high-quality administrative and financial support services. We are not asking you to be an IT expert, but you’ll have existing skills on using some IT systems, mobile devices and Microsoft packages, able to learn new systems quickly and effectively. You’ll utilise these skills in supporting our management team with care plan reviews, performance reporting and contractual monitoring.

The Business Support Officer will also provide support to the local care and central Finance teams with invoicing, debt management and payroll to make sure our care service remains operationally sustainable.

**What we are looking for**

As you will take the lead on handling any enquiries from our internal and external partners, we need a Business Support Officer who can build an excellent rapport with our contacts and help to support the reputation of Blackwood within the local community. Ideally, you will show us that you have a track record in engaging with people through excellent customer service skills and share our values and ways of working.

You will have a pivotal role in helping to co-ordinate recruitment, onboarding and induction alongside the Care Service Manager. Strong organisational and planning skills are, therefore, a must
