Reed is proud to be representing our exclusive specialist client within the domiciliary care sector to assist in the recruitment of a Senior Care Manager based at their office in Lancaster.

Our client has been established for over 20 years and has grown from strength to strength. At present the organisation employ over 80 staff members.Working over a wide geographical area, they make extensive use of modern technology, computer and systems.

The Senior Care Manager will have overall responsibility for day-to-day management of the Care Management team. Ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory guidelines, ensuring the Care Management team is kept up to date with guidance.

Other main duties will include:

- Management operations, care planning, updating profiles, maintaining records.
- Direct line manager for care management team, direct reports and associated HR functions.
- Assist in implementing QA processes, policy and procedures.
- Ensuring safeguarding, duty of care to clients and PAs and comply with all policies and procedures.
- To participate in team tasks/projects as and when required.
- Coordinate and conduct regular meetings with staff, set agendas and keep notes to share with management.
- Participate in report collation, writing, analysis and discussion pertaining to care management.

Along with the day-to-day management of the CM team this role will also:

- Supervise, monitor, and evaluate quality of service and PA performance. PA reviews/performance scheme ADV.Write references for PAs on request.
- Manage own client list, including planning bookings, client/PA liaison, client/PA advice and support.
- Conflict handling/resolution, keeping accurate notes and all relevant documentation.
- Keep up to date with all regulations/legislation associated with our business.
- Attend relevant courses or workshops as may be required from time to time. Ensure any regulatory activity, such as personal care and administering medicines, is delivered within regulations.

You would also need an absolute commitment to working to and exceeding very high quality standards in every aspect of business.

Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook and evidence of working with a variety of databases/software packages and be willing to work in a busy, fast-moving environment
