**Job Purpose**
Your main responsibility will be to ensure the site teams at Hull production unit are managing health and safety procedures in compliance with company requirements, the law as well as adhering to identified best practice in all areas. You will also support to colleagues, contractors & visitors to prevent/reduce incidents.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage & maintain all aspects of Process Safety. - Collaborate with colleagues to build the understanding of safety processes in all teams.
- Guide colleagues to develop & ensure implementation of HSES policies, procedures, plans & practices.
- Oversee HSE activities & initiatives.
- Proactively manage risk & hazards.
- Facilitate move from compliance to commitment-based safety.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

**Job Requirements**
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Experience of process safety management. - Comfortable working with management systems such as ISO 14001 & 45001
- Used to driving continuous improvement in processes, policies & standards.
- Strong strategic & conceptual abilities gained in a manufacturing operation.
- Effective at nurturing & coaching others.

- An environmental qualification with experience of environmental management/reporting would be an advantage.
