Group Assistant Director of Financial Planning

**Job Description**:
This is an excellent opportunity to join the IQ EQ Group Finance Team as a senior leader to drive meaningful and accurate forecasting and analytics for the Group. The role will require a proactive approach in the management of internal stakeholders, investors, lenders, and ratings agencies. You will take a critical role in the development of new forecasting tools to improve efficiency, accuracy and frequency of forecasting. The role will include the involvement in M&A and other corporate activity. You will be a critical part of the finance team and develop working relationships with the business leaders across the Group.
The role will encompass:
- Liaison with MDs and Finance Directors in relation to the expectations from trading entities across the IQ EQ Group alongside analysis of centralised costs
- Providing insight to the Group Management Team on expected trading against budget, forecasts and prior year
- Implementation and roll out of systemised planning tools in order to facilitate rolling forecasting and cash flow projections
- Management of the annual budget process
- Preparation of reporting and associated analytics for review by investors, lenders, ratings agencies and internal management
- Management of due diligence processes for corporate and borrowing activity
- Ad hoc reporting, analytics and modelling

**Qualifications**
- ACA or ACCA or equivalent qualifications
- Experience in financial planning and analytics in in a multi-jurisdictional Group
- Ability to liaise with key stakeholders internally (Group Management Team members including C-suite) and externally
- Excellent written communication skills both for report writing and addressing stakeholder queries
- Experience in Private Equity and leveraged businesses an advantage
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of and planning tools advantageous, particularly Workday.
- Organised and driven to ensure that tight deadlines are met.
