The Group has through this ethos held it’s market share. The Group currently offers funds remittance services largely to Africans living around the world, and is currently looking to expand its portfolio worldwide.
The business started in the Netherlands in 1993 and then expanded to the UK using a branch and partner network.
Our client’s management team are dedicated to ensuring our customers always come first.
**The Role**
This role is positioned in an expanding international non-bank financial institution based in London.
**Tasks**
- Leadership_
- Lead a diverse finance team across 4 international entities based at head office locations.
- Responsible in Setting finance vision and objectives with a view to add value and improve financial performance.
- Audits & Control_
- Review, monitor and improve the internal controls environment through group internal audit manager.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance by reviewing through assistance from finance compliance officer.
- Maintain a control framework through authorised "delegation of authority" policy and ensure its full compliance.
- Corporate Finance_
- Managing funding partners and any queries relating to loan covenants.
- Doing presentations to the funding partners as required.
- Integrating new acquisitions into the business e.g. hotel acquisitions or new openings.
- Business Planning_
- Overlook budgeting and business forecasting processes covering entire group.
- Ensure annual management reporting calendar and all deadlines are met and responsibility is delegated to all business managers and finance function heads.
What we are looking for:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), preferably chartered
- Been an autonomous Finance Director, preferably in the FinTech or Financial Services sectors
- Excellent communication and presentational skills
- Demonstrate a track record of business process and operations.
