Attendance Officer Apprentice

**New College Durham Academies Trust comprises of two large Academies, Consett Academy and North Durham Academy, located some six miles apart in North West Durham. New College Durham, is our lead sponsor and both Academies are located in multi-million-pound new builds, offering unrivalled state of the art facilities for our students and communities in Consett and Stanley.**

Consett Academy is seeking to appoint an Apprentice Attendance Officer:
**Attendance Officer Apprentice**
**(18 months fixed term)**

**Wage**:Apprentice minimum wage

**Working week** Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm Friday 8am - 3:30pm, 30 minute lunch break each day. Total hours per week: 37.

**What will the apprentice be doing?**
- Assisting in the updating and monitoring of class registers
- Assist with any attendance related queries
- Providing clerical support to the attendance team and other departments when required.
- Using multiple IT systems to write letters, maintain student records and analyse data.
- Undertaking general office duties including the distribution of mail, filing and photocopying.

**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**

Business Administration Apprenticeship - Level 3.

**Qualifications**:
Good numeracy/literacy skills evidenced to Level 2
