**Job Title: Receptionist/Administrative Assistant**
**Location**: Kirkby-in-Ashfield
**Job Type**: Full-Time
**About Us**: Kirkby Dental Practice is a patient-centred Dental Practice dedicated to providing top-notch services to our community. We pride ourselves on our friendly and professional environment, where every team member plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Answer the phone in a polite and timely manner
- Book and change appointments both in-person and over the phone
- Ensure patients are booked in upon arrival and inform the clinicians
- Send communications to patients using their chosen method
- Take payments and manage cash transactions
- Place and receive orders from suppliers as directed by the Practice Manager or Practice Principal
- Perform general administrative tasks such as scanning and photocopying
- Ensure patient records are kept up-to-date and stored securely
- Serve as the first point of contact for complaints, following the procedure and directing to the complaints manager as required
- Manage social media and marketing tasks as needed
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Proficient in using office software and equipment
- Experience in a similar role using SOE is preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong customer service skills
