**IPS Employment Specialist**
- **Applications also welcomed from North East Hampshire, Surrey Heath, Woking, Runneymede, Spelthorne and Windsor, Elmbridge, Epsom and Ewell, Reigate and Banstead, Tandridge, Mole Valley, Guildford and Waverley**_

**Get Set for Making a Difference to People’s Lives**

Get Set UK is more than just an employment services or training provider; we’re here to nurture potential and help people move towards a better tomorrow. We support people to make positive changes in their lives and believe people should be able to fulfil their potential, whatever their circumstances.

We will be delivering Individual Placement Support (IPS) within communities and neighbourhoods across Surrey. This uses a ‘Place-then-Train’ approach to help individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and those with neurodiversity needs into sustained employment.

This is a hugely rewarding role where you will use your skills to engage, support and mentor individuals with health conditions to secure sustainable and meaningful employment utilising the IPS approach, which has been proven to achieve high success rates. You will support your clients in the community, job coach at employers’ sites, build and maintain strategic partnerships with local businesses, and oversee your clients’ overall journey towards their employment goals.

And don’t worry If you have employment services experience but not specifically IPS then we can train you when you join us.

Every day with us is an opportunity to touch lives, inspire change, and contribute to a society where everyone gets a fair chance to shine.

**YOUR IMPACT**:

- Support participants through the complete end-to-end journey of the programme, from engagement to in-work support, empowering them through personalised, practical support tailored to their employment aspirations.
- Forge solid connections with local employers to uncover both visible and hidden job opportunities that are aligned with participant preferences.
- Work with community health teams and jobcentres to develop strong referral networks and a collaborative approach to enhancing participant pathways to employment.
- Advocate for our participants in the workplace, supporting them and their employers to navigate the journey to sustained employment, including the return-to-work process.
- Working as part of a team in delivering service objectives and targets.
- Ensure meticulous record-keeping and compliance through our CRM systems, upholding our standard of service excellence.
- Approximately 80% working in the community, 20% working from home.

**WHO WE SEEK**:

- Has a deep understanding of disability employment issues.
- Proactive, outcome-oriented professional, experienced in supporting diverse participant needs.
- Competent navigator of complex tasks, who can confidently influence and guide others towards positive results.
- A team player equipped with exceptional communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills, ready to drive our mission forward.
- Ready to learn and develop as an IPS Employment Specialist.

**You share our values**:

- You are ambitious and show this through your determination and innovation.
- You inspire those around you to take responsibility through your daily actions.
- You take pride in your daily achievements and want to support your local community.
- You are considerate to your colleagues, partners and stakeholders and collaborate well in an inclusive environment.
- You own your attitude, motivation, and actions. You are prepared to step and be accountable.

**OUR PROMISE TO YOU**:
We're here to support you as much as you support our clients. Our mission is clear: to empower, ignite opportunities, support resilience, and nurture career success for everyone.

Our workplace is dynamic, committed, encouraging, and empathetic. We believe in fostering an environment that is not just about professional growth but also personal well-being. As part of the Get Set UK team, you'll enjoy:

- Competitive salaries that appreciate your hard work and dedication.
- Comprehensive pension schemes designed for your future security.
- Healthcare packages that prioritise your well-being.
- Gym memberships to support your physical health and mental clarity.
- An inclusive employee forum where your voice is heard and valued.
- Continuous training and development opportunities to help you grow and succeed.

We are proud to be part of a team that supports local people, across local communities. Our services are developed and delivered to a standard that sets us apart from the crowd
