CMA Recruitment Group delighted to be working in partnership with a Professional services business to secure an HR Director to lead the people function in the next development of the businesses strategy and growth. This HR Director role is a board levelposition, with a high degree of autonomy, developing and embedding the strategic people plan to effectively shape and set up the People function for future growth and contribute to the effective delivery of the business' strategic objectives.
**What will the role involve?**
The HR Director will design, deliver and implement the people strategy for the organisation, to include talent management and succession planning, employee engagement and retention, reward and recognition, recruitment, employee relations, employer brandreputation, organisational design, learning and development
Oversee and ensure the provision, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of professional skills and other training for all employees, including management and leadership development.
Review effectiveness of existing approach to total rewards, recommending improvements where required. Continuously improve, monitor and adapt strategies and approaches, being responsive to the prevailing economic and recruitment climate.
The HR Director will lead and manage the HR function ensuring that the firm's HR service is provided in a professional, responsive and appropriate manner. Providing strategic advice on all people matters.
Develop, implement and evaluate HR policies and procedures ensuring they keep pace with best practice and reflect the firm's culture and values.
Manage the talent pool strategically in association with senior managers so that the business can identify, attract, engage and retain high quality staff (both qualified and non-qualified) in keeping with the needs of the firm now and in the future.
Develop, implement and manage health and wellbeing strategies to educate Team Leaders and in these areas and assist individuals in managing their own health and wellbeing.
Managing and monitoring budgets including reporting on current and future staffing costs and initiatives.
The HR Director will be FCIPD or MCIPD qualified
Senior HR leader with extensive experience and professional accreditation in the design, transformation of or developing people strategies and leading-edge HR functions for a diverse / multi-skilled employee base, driving organisational effectiveness - aligningto commercial objectives.
Currently responsible for all aspects of HR in a Professional services business either; Accountancy, legal, Management consultancy or financial services.
