**Part time, Permanent - 20 hours a week**

**Working hours - Monday - Friday, 10am - 2pm**

**Interview date: 4 January 2024**

The Residences Caretaker will provide day to day support with the preparation of halls of residences buildings/facilities in line with staff and student requirements to meet the Service Level Agreement.

These posts will cover all 3 residences sites; Waterside, St Johns and Scholars Green in Kingsthorpe. Each post will have a designated area but will oversee all sites as and when required. Therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential.

**About you**
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Work accurately and safely
- Have experience in cleaning, caretaking and porterage tasks
- Have experience of working in occupied buildings understanding the need not to cause disruption
- Smart phone/tablet literate
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Work with mínimal supervision and on own initiative, either in a team or alone
- Be adaptable, conscientious and to be a good team member
- Be able to work under pressure and managing conflicting demands
- Understand COSHH ( Control Substances Hazardous to Health and safety regulations),Health and safety and manual handling

**Qualifications**

Essential;
- Able to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills to a standard appropriate to post.
