This is a role that is imperative in the smooth running of the gynaecology service at Colchester Hospital supporting our operational and clinical teams and has a direct impact to patient's lives.

In order to succeed in this role you must possess excellent communication skills and work well under pressure.

You will be responsible for following all processes and procedures to enable the booking of patients for their diagnostic test. This will involve negotiating dates with patients and clinicians within all performance target deadlines. You will work alongside the operational coordinator to ensure maximum utilisation and understanding of list delays and cancellations. You will also ensure accurate recording of patient details on the Trust's patient administration system and generating all appropriate documentation.
