This position is required to meet the current and future needs of the company by providing support to the Financial Controller and administrative support to the business

This position comes with the opportunity to build upon your existing accounting and administrative skillsets with the opportunity to progress within the business

**Responsibilities**:

- Check and process supplier invoices to purchase ledger
- Review supplier discrepancies
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Prepare payment schedule for payments to suppliers
- Process bank statement transactions to customer, supplier accounts and cash book entries
- Bank account reconciliation to management accounts
- Debt collection - issue of statements, reminders and overdue accounts
- Daily review of customer financial rating via ‘Creditsafe’
- Registering of customer invoices via ‘Coupa Supplier Portal’
- Petty cash reconciliation and processing to management accounts
- Credit card statement reconciliation and processing to management accounts
- Recording of minutes of daily operations meeting, quarterly quality meetings and sales meetings
- Purchase orders - support Warehouse Operative with progressing, updating and filing of open orders
- Sales order projects - support sales team with day to day document control of customer projects
- Reordering of stationery
- Comply with office routines and ISO 9001 : 2015 standards through use of ‘Dropbox’
- Operate office software and follow working procedures
- General housekeeping to be maintained at all times to ensure Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to

Skills/Key Attributes:

- 3 years accounts experience
- 5 GCSE minimum of grade C - Math and English essential
- Computer skills - good understanding of Outlook, Excel and Word
- Opportunity to gain AAT qualification available with this position
- Problem solving
- Aptitude for learning, accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.00 per hour
