**Responsibilities**:

- Monday - Friday with overtime available at an enhanced rate + excellent benefits package
- Undergo training relevant to their supervisory duties.
- Ensure that employees, contractors, and sub-contractors under their control receive necessary training for task completion and complete induction.
- Delegate roles effectively, considering team members' competencies, encouraging independent task execution, and cultivating a sense of responsibility for work quality.
- Verify that contractors, sub-contractors, and their workers have completed an induction.
- Communicate performance targets and goals to the team clearly.
- Schedule work hours and shifts to ensure workload requirements are met.
- Provide ongoing, real-time feedback on employee performance and conduct formal evaluations via the Company’s appraisal system.
- Communicate company updates during daily team meetings, receive and escalate feedback as necessary.
- Collaborate with Production Engineering to identify, implement, and deliver projects within set deadlines.
- Assist in resolving emergencies and issues that impact the team's ability to meet production targets.
- Address workplace issues, including tardiness or absenteeism.
- Regularly provide verbal and written reports on departmental activities to management.
- Cultivate a culture of Continuous Improvement and Excellence within the team.
- Assist with entire employee lifecycle activities (onboarding, exit interviews, etc.), under the guidance of the General Manager, adhering to Company policies.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety protocols in the workplace.
- A role model and mentor who can create an upskilled department and foster a culture of Excellence.
- At least two years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively across all levels.
