**The Role**

The Finance Department are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in working in financial departments to provide administrative support to a well-established team. Working alongside the finance team, you will be involved in the in preparation of day to day transactional accounting ensuring appropriate controls are adhered to. This will include both Sales Ledger including credit control and Purchase Ledger.

**Key responsibilities for our Finance Assistant**:

- To process the relevant accounting documentation in a timely and accurate manner to enable up to date reporting.
- Resolve and deal with accounts queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare regular payment runs.
- Provide a good level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including staff and students.

**To be successful as a Finance Assistant you will need**:

- Proven experience of working in financial departments
- Good communication skills necessary to liaise with colleagues and academic staff
- Experience of using financial software along with a high standard of computer literacy including strong excel skills is required.
