We're currently looking for an **Examinations Administrator **on a full time, permanent basis. This position sits within the Exam Centre Operations team based in Glasgow.

**The job**

Reporting to the Team Manager, on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:

- Responsible for a portfolio of exam centres, ensuring all are set up ahead of each exam session.
- Ensure that the budgetary expenditure for a portfolio of examination centres is controlled and accounted for correctly.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the centre and site database (internally and externally) with the detailed information required to ensure the successful operation of exams.
- Finalise results within a tight timescale, ensuring 100% accuracy by investigating and resolving exceptions created as part of the marking process.
- Support the deliverables of the Exam Delivery and Innovation programme and other projects, with the transition into business as usual.
- Support the operation of ACCA's Computer Based Examinations by assisting with all key functions administered by the Exam Centre Operations team as required, in line with business peaks and published deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support the successful delivery of each of the 4 exam sessions, which may include extended working hours and/or out of hours working.
- Any other ad hoc tasks, as required.

**The person**

We're looking for someone who has the following skills/experience:

- Educated to HND standard, or equivalent
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage several jobs at once
- Attention to detail with a systemised and procedural approach to carrying out and recording activities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of people at different levels
- The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to use initiative and work with the minimum of supervision
- A good team player able to show flexibility and adaptability in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to demonstrate good technical understanding of software systems
- Good IT skills with experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and preferably Oracle systems
