**Role Summary**:
The Stakeholder Engagement specialist will drive the delivery of the company’s Stakeholder strategy. Working with the wider LCCC business the post holder will develop and deliver outcomes focused stakeholder engagement programmes. This might include conferences, workshops, strategic stakeholder management, survey development, digital communications and online events.

The postholder will develop compelling materials (articles, speeches, presentations etc), co-ordinate delivery of our own events and participate at external events as well as develop ideas for new stakeholder offerings for the wider energy industry and related business sectors (e.g. investors).

The postholder will be expected to proactively engage with and respond to feedback from stakeholders to identify areas of improvement to existing services and identify new opportunities to take forward.

The role will also require working with stakeholder liaison teams in the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero and our delivery partner organisations, Ofgem, National Grid ESO and our settlement agent, EMRS (a subsidiary of ELEXON).

**Key Responsibilities**:
Facilitate the business to develop and deliver outcomes focused engagement programmes including:

- Engagement plans with measurable outcomes identified
- Stakeholders mapping
- Proactive identification of new stakeholder engagement and external communications opportunities
- Support the delivery of external speaking opportunities including engagement with organisers and event participants, speech writing, slide preparation and event evaluation
- Support the business to prepare for external stakeholder meetings by preparing briefings and presentation slides

Support the wider Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team by:

- Delivering stakeholder communications via dialogue, events programme, bulletins, social media
- Delivering stakeholder research (annual survey)
- Uploading insight into CRM (SalesForce)
- Maintain accuracy of relationship management matrices
- Coordinate effectively across the business, ensuring that all stakeholder queries are responded to within agreed deadlines
- LCCC reserves the right to assign other duties commensurate with the role as required.

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:

- At least 2 years of experience of delivering stakeholder engagement programmes across a broad stakeholder landscape
- Highly desirable - Energy sector stakeholder engagement experience
- Extensive experience of Microsoft Office, Salesforce and online tools such as Zoom, EventBrite and Slido
- Experience of using digital and social media tools
- Experience of events management (online and in-person)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor complex information into clear engaging content for different audiences
- Maturity and flexibility to thrive under changing demands and competing priorities
- Confident in dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to take on a wider range of tasks to support the team as necessary
