Initially on an 18-month fixed term contract, the **Post-Doc Researcher** will come from a Biochemistry background and be capable of the following:
- Providing a strong scientific contribution to the development of fluorescent nanoparticles
- Provide feedback on performance of the bio-functionalised nanoparticles to the wider development team to facilitate improvements.
**About You**:
- PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biological Chemistry, Surface Chemistry or a related field, or a degree + experience
- Ready to move your career into industrial research
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to all audiences
- Experience of surface immobilisation of biomolecules
- Ideally some experience / understanding of one / some of the following:
- Oligonucleotide immobilisation
- Surface characterisation
- Fluorescence based assays
- Surface functionalisation of nanoparticles
