We have a fantastic opportunity for a **Cook** who is truly passionate about food and ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents in **Redburn Clinic, Spa Nursing Home ad Oakridge Care Home, Ballynahinch **are met.

Working as part of our fantastic multi-disciplinary team, your main roles will be to prepare meals for our residents specific to their dietary requirements and tastes, baking, menu planning, food ordering and stock control.

Spa Nursing home is a 24 bedded home that specialises in the frail elderly

Oakridge Care Home is a 65 bedded home specialising in frail elderly, residential and dementia care.

Redburn Clinic is a 19 bedded home specialising in frail elderly care.

**What we need from you**

Essential:

- At least 6 months experience in a food preparation/ kitchen environment.
- An understanding of the nutritional needs of the elderly.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- Medically fit to carry out the role.

It is desirable that you have 6 months’ experience in catering for elderly clients and is beneficial if you have an NVQ Qualification (or equivalent) in catering.
