**Peripatetic Cook (Full time, 40 hpw)**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Cook who is truly passionate about food and ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents across our group are met.

Working as part of our fantastic multi-disciplinary team, your main roles will be to prepare meals for our residents specific to their dietary requirements and tastes, baking, menu planning, food ordering and stock control.

**You will work across our 7 homes however you will be based in one home for the duration of each shift. Our homes are located in Ballynahinch (x3), Carryduff, Belfast, Crumlin and Banbridge.**

**What we need from you**

Essential:

- At least 6 months experience in a food preparation/ kitchen environment for elderly clients.
- An understanding of the nutritional needs of the elderly.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Available to work Monday to Sunday 8am to 6pm on a rota basis
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- Medically fit to carry out the role.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle (or access to a form of transport which enables you to fulfil the duties of the post).

It is beneficial if you have an NVQ Qualification (or equivalent) in catering.
