**Marina Operative**

to join the Team working at our MDL - Torquay Marina

You will be based at Torquay Marina, which is a high profile, busy site, situated in Torbay making it a popular visitor destination. Our aim is to deliver the highest level of service to our customers, which demands the best from our team every day. You may also be required to work at Brixham Marina from time to time.

**The Role**:

- To provide cover when required for the busy season, to cover holidays, sickness, bad weather support and if extra staff required for events.
- Cover will include nights, days and bank holidays, shifts can be 12 hour days or 12 hour nights,

**The role will include**:

- Overseeing the berthing allocations of vessels
- Assisting in actively marketing and promoting the marina and associated services
- Maintaining the security of the site
- Assisting colleagues in maintaining and keeping the marina in a safe, secure and presentable condition.

**The key requirements for this role are**:

- An ability to deliver the highest standards of customer service
- Good practical boating skills
- Self motivated and able to work without supervision
- Innovative in your approach to solving problems
- Current computer literacy
- A practical, resourceful and common sense approach
- Enthusiastic and friendly with a flexible and positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to swim
