Barnardo's are seeking to recruit experienced, caring and committed** Child and Family Support Worker **to join our **Prison Visits and Family Support **team.

Based at HMP Isle of Wight in Newport we require as and when staff to support the team on visit days - **Friday, Saturday, Sunday**.

The hours are generally 11.30am-4.30pm, however there is flexibility within this time frame and the opportunity to agree to planned hours in advance as well as the offer of ad hoc hours to cover sickness or annual leave.

The Prison Visit and Family Support team play a central role in ensuring that our visit centre offers children and families a welcoming, friendly and safe environment whilst they wait to visit their loved one(s) in prison. There is also the opportunity to support families during their visit in HMP IOW visit halls.
