We are working with a small company who are looking to increase the number of residential Residential Support Workers and Team Leaders for their brand new home in Blackpool. As a support worker you will be required to help with all aspects of daily life for these children.

This individuals working in this home have high aspirations for the children they support. In this role you will be required to be a 'Corporate parent' which involves working shifts, weekends and sleep-in's at the home. You will be provided with a full suite of training and also have your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare paid for if you do not already hold this qualification to allow you to successfully pursue a career in this industry

Salary paying between £28,500 to 33,000 pending experience and qualifications.

*As a Residential Support Worker, you will have the following:*
- The desire and passion to safeguard, motivate, and inspire the young people in your care.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, managers, in addition to working closely alongside other external professionals.
- The characteristics and personality to handle challenging behaviour effectively and professionally.

*What is required for this role:*
- Full UK driving licence (that has been held for 1 year minimum) (essential)
- experience in working with children and a good understanding of safe guarding (ideal)
- previous experience in a support/care position (ideal)
- Flexibility in terms of when you can work (essential)

**Salary**: £28,500.00-£33,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blackpool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
