**The Role**:
We are looking to recruit a Payroll Officer to join the Payroll Team at Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters

**Contract type**:
2x Permanent Posts** **/ Band 4 / Full Time / 37 hours / Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

**Annex 21**

Applicants who do not meet the essential criteria will be considered under the Annex 21 training programme, where whilst undergoing training they will be paid a 75% of the top of Band 4 and on completion of training will then move on to Band 4 pay scale.

**What we'll need you to bring**:

- Payroll experience preferably in NHS Terms & conditions, with knowledge of current statutory regulations. Experience and knowledge equivalent to HNC Level.
- Good communication /interpersonal skills
- Able to use initiative and prioritise workload
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Ability to handle all information in a confidential manner and respond to queries with tact and diplomacy.
- Ability and willingness to undergo further training as necessary.
- Flexible approach to meet the need of the service.
- Problem Solving skill

**It would be good if you also had**:

- Experience in the delivery of training
- Knowledge of the statutory regulations and NHS Conditions of Service
- Good team player
