We’re looking to build our Financial Services Consulting team, by recruiting for an Analyst.

**Job Purpose**:
The Analyst will work as part of an engagement team on a variety of client engagements covering strategy, performance improvement and complex change to support them to understand the problem, consider options and reach a conclusion as well as to work alongside our clients as part of a cross-functional team within their businesses to successfully deliver the engagement.

This is an exciting client-facing role which gives the opportunity to develop market research, business analysis, process improvement and project management skills. It would suit someone with an interest in problem solving and has a keen interest in developing an understanding of current trends & developments and what makes businesses successful.

You will also be expected to support in how we develop the Practice (e.g. account management, developing thought leadership, internal projects) and to take responsibility for the direction of your continuing professional development.
- Graduate, well qualified school leaver or 1-3 years’ work experience in FS or non-related sector.
- Show a willingness to go above and beyond, using their initiative to deliver outside of their existing role.
- A clear and genuine interest in businesses and how they improve performance.
- Be personable, valuing humility & team working.
- A high energy level to drive the FS Consulting Practice forward and add to the team ethos and atmosphere.
- Be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to demonstrate creative problem-solving examples.
- Have very high standards of quality, particularly as regards written outputs.
- Relishes being challenged and delivering against deadlines.
- Disciplined and professional in their approach.
- Effectively manage their own time and workload, effectively planning and organising priorities.
- Proficient user of PowerPoint and, Word and Excel.
- Able to identify, gather and organise data in a logical manner, as well as create slides with a good degree of accuracy.
- Able to quickly establish credibility internally and with clients, forming effective business relationships.
- Be an excellent communicator (listening, speaking and writing).
- Able to deliver competently on their own initiative, but also knowing when to ask for advice and support.
- Enthusiastic and keen to learn and share experiences.
- Analytical, and financially and commercially astute.

Please note that the role may involve some travel throughout the UK and on occasion overnight stays.
