**COUNTER SALES**

**Robert Price (Builders’ Merchants) Ltd. - Abergavenny Agricultural (Maternity Cover - 9 months)**

**Hours**:
12 hours per week. Wednesday’s, 8:30am - 5:00pm (flexibility with weekday) & Saturday Mornings 8:30am - 12:30pm.

**Pay**:
Negotiable according to experience.

**Duties**:
Counter sales and related administration

Use of point-of-sale terminal - training will be given

Customer service, dealing with customers in person and on the phone

Merchandising, price labelling and stock management

**Essential Skills**:
Basic understanding of farming community and agricultural industry

Outgoing and friendly personality who can engage confidently with members of the rural community

A confident communicator with a willingness to engage with customers and provide good service

GCSE Maths (minimum grade C) and English Language with good keyboard skills

Naturally tidy and organised

Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised and with initiative

**Desirable**:
Experience in customer service

Used to taking cash and card payments

Keyboard skills

Manual handling up to 25kg

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 9 months
Part-time hours: 12 per week
