The NIHR TM-MIC is funded to build expertise and capacity in the NHS to support the development of new medical technologies to enable improved management of the trauma care pathway from the point of injury through to stabilisation and recovery. MD-TEC is a unique, state of the art usability facility undertaking ergonomic and user-based testing on pre regulatory medical technologies The Clinical Director Professor Tom Clutton-Brock is a senior clinical academic in anaesthesia and intensive care with a career long success in bringing new medical devices to market. We are seeking to recruit a Clinical Research Fellow in anaesthesia who will be supervised by Professor Clutton-Brock and Simon Smart to provide the clinical lead on all innovation studies. The majority of studies will be around usability; however it is anticipated that there will be some requirement around clinical investigation development and delivery, along with adoption evaluations.
