The Procurement Department provides professional advice and support to all Trust wards and departments on the purchase of goods and services. For United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Lincolnshire Community Health Service and Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The Procurement Department are seeking to employ a motivated and experienced purchasing and supply professional, with a good standard of general education.

The post holder will be an integral part of the Operational Procurement team undertaking day to day transactional aspects of Procurement including placing purchase orders, evaluating quotes and assisting with maintenance of electronic catalogues as required.

The post holder will be expected to undertake and assist in the purchasing of goods and services whilst ensuring value for money and compliance is obtained at all times.

You will be required to liaise with supplier representatives and key Trust stakeholders as appropriate. The post holder will be required to develop, and maintain, positive relationships with staff in end-user departments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and professional support is provided.
