The Diamond Group has been awarded a unique opportunity to expand, offering you the chance to join a friendly team and assist in the running of our East Grinstead Same Day Branch.

Everyday you will be likely to encounter something different with no two days ever being the same, meaning there is never a dull moment

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for Operations Assistants on a permanent basis, where the purpose of your role will be to providing customer service and to assist the general manager, with whom you will grow a close relationship with, in the day to day running of the office.

You will need to be confident taking calls and making bookings. Experience in ops / call centres is handy but not necessary as training will be provided on the role.

This role will require collaborative working with other members of the team, so you will need to have good communication skills and be able to work effectively with others. As well as this, confidence is a useful characteristic to possess, due to the regular interactions with customers. And finally, organization and a pro active mindset will allow for you to progress in this role and become a vital part of the team.

The Diamond Group has been established for more than 30 years and specializes in same-day courier deliveries. We also operate a self storage facility and overnight services and international deliveries.

**Main role**:

- Liaise with our couriers and allocate them work in the most cost-effective way.
- Take bookings from customers and enter onto our in-house system.
- Proactively track & trace consignments through to final delivery, and keep customers informed and up to date.

**Hours**:
**Monday-Friday**

**8 hour shift**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
