**CNC Operator (Profiling)**

This job description sets out a framework of the duties and responsibilities of this position. It is not intended to be comprehensive and you may be required to carry out other duties at the reasonable request of the company.

**JOB BRIEF**

The profiling division CNC Operator is responsible for day-to-day CNC operation in the warehouse. They will oversee and coordinate with the Head of Production on various warehousing activities. This includes production productivity, quality and customer service standards; achieving the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, they must ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations in order to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Forklift and crane license are preferred but not essential as full training can be provided where required.

**KEY TASKS**
- Responsible for CNC Profile burning and material handling operations.
- Inform the Head of Production of all occurrences which affect the efficiencies of the warehouse.
- Liaise with other departments where required.
- Liaise with Head of Production on any matter affecting an issued works order.
- Ensure works orders (Plasma Hi-Def or Oxy) are processed in a timely manner.
- Ensure completed works orders are processed, picked, marked and ready for vehicle loading adhering to order due dates.
- Ensure stock discrepancies are detailed and reported to the Head of Production for action.
- Assist with ordering warehouse supplies where required.
- To comply, and ensure all warehouse operators comply with the dress code, HSE and quality standards agreed within the company.
- Ensure all accidents are reported.
- Ensure ‘Before Use Checks’ and ‘Overall Equipment Effectiveness’ checks, and reporting of faults are carried out.
- Ensure any faults are passed onto the Head of Production.
- To ensure machinery is operated in line with the published SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) at all times.
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout the warehouse; to have a thorough morning clean-up and quick end of shift clean-up, every day.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing any other task as specified by the division manager
- A willingness to learn and be part of a fast moving team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£13.70 per hour

- Profile Burner: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Crane License (preferred)
