CNC Plasma

J.G.B Steelcraft (UK) Limited have a requirement for a CNC Plasma & Waterjet Cutting Machine Operator to join our team in Hillington Park. We specialize in the services such as Laser, Plasma & Waterjet cutting, Press Braking, Plate Rolling, Welding, Painting and powder coating.

Key responsibilities:

- Program and operate CNC plasma profiling machines
- Read work orders and plan work sequence
- Set controls for speed, feed rate
- Handle and move materials
- Cutting and removal of scrap material

Required Experience:

- 2 years’ operating CNC equipment
- Must be able to read technical drawings
- Organized with an attention to detail
- Maintains accurate and detailed inventory data
- CAD knowledge helpful but not required
- The ability to prioritise tasks and adopt a flexible approach to working methods
- The ability to work within a team environment
- Use of a forklift truck and overhead crane

Machines that you will be operating is a Esprit Automation Lightning HD

Hypertherm XPR 300 with Optimix and a Flow D-IFB 3620 Dynamic Waterjet System. Training can be provided if you are not familiar with these types of machines.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 5.30pm

39 hours per week, paid weekly. 4 Day week.

Pension: Company Nest pension scheme.

Holidays: 28 Days, closed on most bank holidays and over Christmas

Competitive wage based on experience
